  1. The Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of the Primary Health Care Improvement Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

 

  1. The “Primary Health Care Improvement” Project Implementation Unit (PIU) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Medical Equipment, Instruments and Accessories (the “Goods”):

Bidders may bid for any or all lots, as further defined in the Bidding Document.

 

  1. International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

 

  1. Only eligible bidders with, but not limited to, the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement.

Minimum average annual turnover of $ 800,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Each Partner of Joint Venture must meet 25% of the requirement. One Partner of Joint Venture must meet 40% of the requirement.

LOT 2 Successful completion as main supplier within the last five (5) years, of at least two (2) contracts each valued at $ 991,000.00 with  the nature of supply of medical instruments  (or medical equipment) All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Minimum average annual turnover of $ 1,800,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Each Partner of Joint Venture must meet 25% of the requirement. One Partner of Joint Venture must meet 40% of the requirement.

LOT 3 Successful completion as main supplier within the last five (5) years, of at least two (2) contracts each valued at $ 1,940,000.00 with  the nature of the supply of treatment diagnostic equipment (or more complex medical equipment)

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement.

Minimum average annual turnover of $ 3,600,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Each Partner of Joint Venture must meet 25% of the requirement. One Partner of Joint Venture must meet 40% of the requirement.

LOT 4 Successful completion as main supplier within the last five (5) years, of at least two (2) contracts each valued at $ 120,000.00 with nature of supply of accessories and instruments for medical diagnostic equipment (or more complex medical equipment),

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement.

Minimum average annual turnover of $ 220,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Each Partner of Joint Venture must meet 25% of the requirement. One Partner of Joint Venture must meet 40% of the requirement

LOT 5 Successful completion as main supplier within the last five (5) years, of at least two (2) contracts each valued at $ 2,260,000.00 with  the nature of the supply of medical diagnostic equipment (or more complex medical equipment)

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement.

Minimum average annual turnover of $ 4,200,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Each Partner of Joint Venture must meet 25% of the requirement. One Partner of Joint Venture must meet 40% of the requirement

LOT 6 Successful completion as main supplier within the last five (5) years, of at least two (2) contracts each valued at $ 2,100,000.00 with  the nature of the supply of treatment diagnostic equipment (or more complex medical equipment)All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Minimum average annual turnover of $ 3,900,000.00 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (3) years.

All Partners of Joint Venture Combined must meet requirement. Each Partner of Joint Venture must meet 25% of the requirement. One Partner of Joint Venture must meet 40% of the requirement

  • write to the address above requesting the Bidding Documents for “PHCIP/ICB-G7: Supply of Medical Equipment, Instruments and Accessories”.
  • The documents will be sent by e-mail to the address stipulated in the request. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

 

  1. Deliver your bid:
  • to the address above
  • on or before the deadline: 15 July, 2022, 3:00 pm, Tashkent time.
  • together with a Bid Security as described in the Bidding Document.

 

All bids will be opened 3:15 pm, Tashkent time in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.

 

  1. The Primary Health Care Improvement PIU will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
